About Us

Chanctonbury Leisure Centre is managed by Chanctonbury Community Leisure, a Registered Charity formed in the wake of the national lockdown in 2020/21.

The Centre provides four badminton courts Sports Hall, Dance / Class Studio, a 3G Football facility, a cafeteria with seating both inside and out, a Health Suite comprising Sauna, Steam and Salt Cabins and an extremely well equipped Gym with CV, Fixed Resistance, Free Weights and Kinesis machines.

The facility re-opened after Covid-19 under the new charity, with invaluable support from Storrington & Sullington Parish Council, Horsham District Council, West Chiltington, Thakeham and Washington Parish Council and Tesla Engineering.

The Charity is overseen by a Board of volunteer Trustees drawn from the local community. As a Charity, any surplus that the Centre may generate is ploughed back into the facility or the services that are provided for community benefit. Chanctonbury Leisure Centre truly is a central hub for the south of Horsham District.

The Centre maintains a reputation of being the friendliest and most accommodating facility and we encourage everyone to come and see what is on offer. Ranging from a free creche for the Under 5’s right through to Gentle Fit classes to help maintain mobility & stability we truly do have something for everyone, regardless of age, ability or fitness levels.
