Abi Martin

I have been Personal Training and teaching fitness classes for 10 years! I live with 5 autoimmune illnesses and therefore have first-hand understanding of just how important exercise and nutrition is to maintaining a high quality of life!

I absolutely love lifting heavy, flowy bodyweight movements, and enjoying nourishing food as medicine for the body and soul.

I can help you to become the healthiest, happiest and most thriving version of yourself through the right training programme, easy to implement nutrition protocols, health testing, herbal remedies, lifestyle adjustments and more.

I’m deeply passionate about strength training and body composition, and I believe training is about so much more than changing how you look—it’s about building strength, confidence, and resilience, both physically and mentally.

I’ve been training for over four years and I’m now working towards competing, which has taught me the power of consistency and self-belief. These are values I bring into every session with my clients. I love helping people push past self-doubt, stay committed to their goals, and realise just how capable they truly are.

When I’m not coaching, you’ll usually find me lifting weights or staying active with walks—it’s simply part of who I am. Fitness isn’t one-size-fits-all, and my approach is always tailored to you, your lifestyle, and your goals.

My aim is to support, challenge, and motivate you every step of the way, celebrating progress big and small, and helping you become the strongest version of yourself inside and out.

I have a Level 2 and Level 3 Qualified Gym Instructor and Personal Trainer and Level 4 Diploma in coaching Body Transformations. I have also a Menopause Certification (Understanding the Female Body during Menopause and Beyond).

I have been a competitive bodybuilder since my early 20s and former powerlifter holding the record for the strongest woman in Surrey Sussex and Kent for age and weight.

For a number of years I took part in several marathons, ultra marathons, numerous cycling events and triathlon.

I love teaching people to lift with weights with correct form, and especially the women who are amazed at how strong they are and how empowered they feel once they start resistance training. If your reason for avoiding weight training is because you are scared you are going to look bulky, it really doesn’t happen like that! Resistance training is your insurance policy for the future – it improves bone density, maintains muscle mass for independence in every day activities as we get older.
