Defibrillators really do make a difference between life and death. A person is up to 75% more likely to survive a cardiac arrest if you correctly use a defibrillator — or, to use its full name, an automated external defibrillator (AED).
You will have seen an AED many times. There will be at least one in your workplace, and they’re popping up all over the place in shopping centres, airports, train stations, pubs and restaurants.
This is a short workshop where you learn how to use the equipment, and how to perform CPR.
Even better, you’ll find the workshop engaging, interesting and surprisingly good fun. I can guarantee it, because when you’re laughing, you’re learning.
Defibrillator training is for…
Everyone, including children over the age of 16 — because learning these skills means that you can save someone’s life.
In a medical emergency, you’ll be as cool as an iced cucumber, able to perform life-saving skills until medical help arrives. Imagine that. You’ll feel like a superhero.
