Chanctonbury Leisure Centre proudly supports and hosts the UK Harvest Community Food Hubs.
ALL residents are welcome to visit the child-friendly Community Food Hubs that are designed to reduce food waste. The hubs also offer recipes and host information stands and visitors to support on various subjects; budgeting, well-being, Citizens Advice and waste prevention.
For a small voluntary donation, residents can bring their own bag to pick up a wide selection of surplus foods (predominantly fresh fruit & veg, bread, dried goods and some frozen), which would have otherwise ended up as waste from suppliers.
